Looking For Cast Members For National Tour!
"Cash Money" Filmed on location in Myrtle Beach, SC, is the story of four office workers from different walks of life, thrown into a life threatening situation, when one co-worker, Damon, a Drag Queen, accidentally destroys a business proposal, forcing all of the office members to travel from New York to Atlanta, re-creating the lost proposal enroute.
Along the way, an argument ensues, & Damon is forced from the car, by their boss, Desiree. As Damon walks off, he stumbles over a suitcase, while 'relieving' himself in the woods. Damon drags the suitcase back to the road, & finds more money than he can comprehend!
From the car, the office workers, Cathy, Desiree & Monique, Damons' best friend, notice Damon dancing & waving money, & invite him back into the car. Damon gets smart with them, & refuses to join them...until he notices a 'mystery' luxury car drive past several times, with hardcore thugs staring out...at them!
The money belongs to the thugs! The thugs have orders from the top, to bring back the suitcase full of money...and the head of the thief that stole it!
A chase & murder ensues, & when all seems lost, Big Mama appears like a God-send & teaches what's of value in life,the realization of what is actually important, especially when your life is dangling by a thread.
"Cash Money", A feature film, is currently under consideration for Internatioanl distribution by a major film company. This is your opportunity to be seen on stage, by millions, to tour the country, to fine tune your skills, &, to be a part of the touring stageplay version of the forth coming hit film "Cash Money"!!!

Casting for the following characters:
Big Mama - Gun totin', Bible preachin, Kind-Hearted, glasses wearing, gray-haired, out-spoken, won't back-down from a fight, widowed, grandmotherly type, who takes in throw-aways, like the HillBilly's, ends up saving the lives of the 'City Folk'. Heavy dialogue, Should be able to sing 'Ole' School gospel'. Preferrably of African descent.
Age: 50-60 (or experienced actress who can play same)
Desiree - Executive, Hard-core, professional, By-The-Book, jaded, rough-around-the-edges because she thinks she has to be, in order to garner respect. Rarely smiles, tough as nails, 'Company man', who actually leans on her 3 office workers to do her work, & looks down on the 'People of color', she has to work with. Thinks she is in control of her own destiny, & got herself where she is in life, not God. Should be White, or a very fair-skinned Hispanic/person of African descent/; She is Secretly envious of lack of aging & ease of dealing with day-to-day stressm, by people of color. Age: 38-48. Proud of & Stresses about being thin, as important.
Damon - Out-spoken, gay male office worker by day, Drag Queen, practically every other time. Damon wears his business suits & works in the office, in order to afford his Drag shows. He is closes to Monique, who supports his life "Underground". Damon does not mask his flamboyant mannerism, is the hottest thing in his clique, Looks better than alot of women, when in Drag. Flirtatious, can sell snow to Eskimos. Damon should be tall, funny, excellent at improv, attractive and able to sing well. Doesn't understand Jesus, since Jesus doesn't understand him, as a homosexual. Preferrably of African descent. Age: 30-45.
Monique - Ghetto fab, sexy, 'Hot like fire', Phat body..When she turns around, you notice the beautiful, long hair to be a 'weave', a 'Fake' Gold front on her tooth, a nose earring or two, & a filthy mouth, full of street slang. You can tell she's from the streets, and this is her first office gig. She knows when to keep her mouth shut, but when she speaks it may be inappropriate, and broken english. Monique has 6 kids, by 6 different men. Knows about God, would rather think about him later, since it scares her. Comes from a dysfunctional home. Preferrably bi-racial, &/or appear exotic looking. Should be great at improv. Age: 24-35. Should be able to sing.
Cathy - Nervous co-worker, who is scared of her own shadow, scared of being fired, scared of not being liked, of loosing her job. Has kids at home & 3 ex-husbands, who run her over. Will cry at the first sign of trouble. Weak & can't stand up for herself. Wants to do everything right. So busy worrying, she has forgotten to let Go & let God. She wouldn't be in this situation, if there was a God. Could be Bi-racial, Hispanic, etc., Slightly over-weight, plain, Age: 36-45.
3 HillBilly's: 3 Rednecks, who appear as close as, or ARE brothers, taken care of by Big Ma'. Definitely slow, one in particular is practically a mute, one is visibly autistic, idiot savant; The oldest, is talkative & tobacco spittin'. Should all be greasy, scruffy, unkempt, unclean look, sweaty, unshaven, over-alls wearing, white guys. Deep understaning of God, even though they are mentally challengened. Age: 28-45. Should be able to harmonize. Think "The Darlin's" from The Andy Griffith show)
2 Thugs - (one role cast- Malik Hart, Chicago) Must be attractive, with a dark side, & persuasive talk. Ability to sing. Main Thug: 6'0, Creamy dark Chocolate complexion, Masculine voice, intimidating in manner & stare. If there is a God, they'll deal with him later. Smooth. Age: 30-40
